My client is currently seeking a competent person at very senior level for the position of General Manager - East Africa
Rapidly growing mining company listed on the stock exchange.
Requirements:
- Over 10 years direct coal mining experience
- Strong commercial, sales and marketing experience
- Government relations/stakeholder engagement
- Financial skills within a mining environment
- Seasoned expat with Africa /remote mining background
- Must be capable of blending with local people and Governments and have a keen sense of commercial business
- Qualification in engineering or mining related subjects
- MBA advantageous
